Cambridge Pro Bono Project

The Cambridge Pro-Bono Project is calling for applications from PhD, LLM, MCL and MPhil (Criminology) students interested in volunteering in the role of Project Manager for the 2021-2022 academic year.

We are recruiting 6-12 students as Project Managers for the 2021-2022 academic year. The students appointed will be responsible for supervising a project over the course of the year, including recruiting and supervising a research team and liaising with the relevant client to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery of the project. Details of proposed projects (currently subject to Faculty approval) have been sent to all currently enrolled postgraduate students at the Law Faculty and Institute of Criminology at the University of Cambridge. If you are interested in applying and did not receive this email, please contact cpp@law.cam.ac.uk if you want to find out more.

The time commitment for Project Managers varies, but averages to approximately 5 hours per week. All projects will be due for completion by April in order to avoid the LLM exam period.

Involvement as a Project Manager provides an excellent opportunity to direct the work of the CPP and to work closely with like-minded students and Faculty members. There will also be further opportunity for students to be involved as researchers after the recruitment of Project Managers is finalised.

If you are interested in applying, please complete the online application form available at the following link by 11.59pm on Friday, 15 October 2021. Interviews will take place during the week starting on 18 October 2021.
