Cambridge Pro Bono Project

The Cambridge Pro Bono Project was deilghted to welcome back one of its founding members, Dr Jason Pobjoy, now a barrister at Blackstone Chambers, to talk to us about his career and pro bono work on 25 February 2021. Jason gave a very interesting overview of how pro bono work has featured in his career, and how his own interests shifted focus over the course of his studies. After completing his talk, we had the opportunity to ask Jason questions from our audience covering such broad topics as his advice for the CPP going forward, how to approach personal wellbeing as a practising barrister, the merits of the collegial English bar and the importance of the cab rank rule.
